Financial Accountant - Leading Brand - Home based initially - 6 months - £250-£300 per day

Are you a qualified Accountant seeking work with a national leading brand company?

Our leading construction client based in Leicestershire are seeking a proven and career motivated Accountant on a 6 month contract with the opportunity for permanent therefore after.

Working as part of a successful and structured team within a stable and secure business, you will contribute towards statutory accounts, group reporting and IFRS 16 postings in addition to various accounting projects within the business.

  • Leading brand company
  • Immediate start available
  • Home based (must be able to commute to North Leicester post covid)
  • £250 - £300 per day + Holiday Pay (PAYE) - paid weekly
  • IT equipment provided)
  • Potential for permanent after 6 month

Duties include:

  • Month/Quarterly/year end
  • Budget processing for IFRS 16
  • General accounting reporting
  • P&L
  • Statutory Accounts
  • Group reporting
  • Group project work

Experience needed:

  • Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant / Part
  • Audit practice experience
  • Statutory Accounts preparation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Hands on experience of IFRS 16 and required postings
  • Keen to learn and progress
  • Able to commute to North Leicester post COVID (or willing to relocate)
