An exciting and interesting position as arisen for the position of an audit senior to join a forward thinking boutique professional services firm in North London This firm has an enviable portfolio of media clients and sports personalities, that have been built up over years of building relationships - supported by the head of department, you will be given the opportunity to grow, and progress.The role involves working within the Audit Team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit, accounting and taxation services. You will report to the managers and some partners. The responsibilities include:Lead the more complicated audits and accounts assignments; be responsible for support team to ensure delivery within agreed timetableManage workload to ensure all tasks are completed according to deadlines and within agreed budgetsLiaise with clients to ensure that information is received in timely manner to prepare accounts and/or complete auditPrepare and manage budgets and costsIdentify opportunities for additional work/cross sellingDevelop support team by on the job training, directing and supervising their workHelp to identify opportunities for additional work/cross sellingFollow firm's methodology and apply professional ethics and standardsHelp to identify opportunities for additional work to up-sell and cross sell services to clients in conjunction with Manager/PartnerBegin to develop own professional network for marketing and introducing new clientsContribute to team and firm initiativesAct with honesty, fairness and integrity in all dealings with clients, contacts and colleagues whilst respecting confidentiality and building trustTake ownership of work/assignmentsTake responsibility for following the firm's proceduresMeet all targets set by the firmComplete and submit timesheets within set deadlinesMaintain client confidentiality out of the office, including on client premises You will be:ICAEW / ICAS/ ICAI or ACCA qualified with solid audit experienceGood technical skills with little supervisionMaintain high standards of professional conduct and practiceOrganise and manage time efficiently and effectivelyConfident communication skillsEnthusiastic and committed to undertaking tasks; seeing tasks through to completion and/or handoverBuild relationships with peers internally and externallyUnderstand other client facing service areas: tax, creative industries division, business services, payrollDevelop excellent client handling and relationship skillsAware of relevant financial targets and constraints and contribute to achieving them, keeping Manager/Partner informed of progressMaintain professional scepticismSeek solutions and not bounded by the problemBe prepared to 'think outside the box' For more information, please contact me today Description
