Financial Accountant - Fintech Bank

An exciting, high growth digital bank continuing it's growth are recruiting a strong, technically gifted Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller in their monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables.Your role will revolve around the development and management of the Banks' accounting and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, processes and controls.Your Responsibilities will include:Supporting the build out of accounting / reporting processes and controls for the bank.Completion of monthly management reporting and variance analysis.Proposing improvements to processes and controls, as appropriate.Management of costs against budget including partnering with the ExCo members to understand any variances.Month end and other periodic accounting and reporting.Month end close activities including accruals, journal postings and review of results.Provide support to the business and ad hoc reporting and project work.Your RequirementsACA qualified from a leading audit practice, with post qualified financial reporting experiencePrevious finance analyst experience, across budgeting, financial planning or management reporting.Previous banking experience is essential.Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
