FTSE listed manufacturing business with impressive growth records are looking to appoint a new Group Internal Reporting Manager. The successful candidate for this role will support the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting and other management information both to the Board and other internal and external stakeholders. The role will be best suited to a qualified Accountant seeking to progress their career and gain experience within a senior team in a fast-paced, listed, group environment. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and eager to develop their accounting and commercial knowledge to take on this position and continue to grow with the business.Key responsibilitiesInternal Board reportingTo support the delivery of timely and accurate numerical reporting to the Board including:Monthly consolidationBudget and forecast consolidationOther ad hoc reportingTo support the delivery of timely and accurate capital expenditure reporting including:Reviewing, challenging and reporting on capex approval requests on a monthly basisReporting the monthly Group capex forecast, including the review and challenge of site submissionsReporting 6-monthly on capex post implementation reviews, including the review and challenge of site submissionsYear end and half year reportingTo support delivery of the Group's year end and half year end reporting including:Production of the 'Financial Statements' section of the annual report and half year statement and supporting schedules and workpapers to ensure a smooth audit processSupport the production of high quality, accurate analysis of resultsSupport the annual process for timely and accurate delivery of all subsidiary financial statementsKeep up to date with latest accounting standards and guidance Systems developmentTo support the development of the Group's consolidation, analytics and other reporting toolsSkills required Fully qualified Accountant - ACA or equivalentA candidate seeking a technically focused role in a progressive businessRelevant experience working in a FTSE environment (industry or practice)Ability to work well in a teamStrong Excel skills and finance systems knowledgeExperience in a manufacturing sector would be ideal (again can be working for a manufacturing company or auditing manufacturing clients in a practice setting).DescriptionAre you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for the next step in your career?
