Interim Head of Finance

On behalf of one of our key clients Lorien Resourcing are looking to recruit an interim Head of Finance to support an exciting project. The role will be based remotely, although occasional travel to London may be required. It has a competitive rate attached on an initial 6 month basis. The purpose of the role will be to support the sale of a business unit to a PE firm and to then establish the new business at an operational level. You will have the opportunity to create new processes, establish relationships and add value to the organisation through financial information. Duties will include: -Leading the budgetary and financial control activities of a significant financial area to meet the needs of the company, government and statutory bodies -Establishing the Treasury and AR functions, including all controls and processes -Providing significant input to discussions relating to financial policy and the impact of its implementation -Directing and co-ordinating the planning and preparation of annual and long-term activities to submit to senior management -Responsibility for the development of key partnerships with external suppliers -Selection and implementation of an ERP system You will be: -A Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) -Comfortable in change environments -A strong leader, with the ability to understand and guide various areas of finance -Experienced within Professional services, financial services or a regulated environment Lorien are an equal opportunities employer.
