An independent, family-owned company of approximately 200 dedicated employees at two distribution centres in Kent are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. The companyand staff operate temperature-controlled warehousing for approx. 4,000 palletsanda fleet oftemperature-controlled vehicles.
As a Management Accountant you will:
Ensure weekly and period reporting is on time Manage and accounts team of 6 people Create of management accounts Develop strong commercial awareness of the budgets / forecasts Support the Financial Controller with weekly forecasts Collate weekly KPIs for Warehouse / Transport Operations Balance sheet reconciliations Submit online filing for FPS / EPS, tax returns and pension submissions Process payroll Carry out ad hoc reporting as required.
We are looking for a Management Accountant with the following qualifications / experience:
Part qualifiedACCA - CIMA or through experience Experience in managing a team Good numeracy skills with an eye for details Excellent IT skills
- knowledge of Pegasus Opera would be an advantage Customer focused with drive to achieve Thorough and robust Ledger knowledge Ability to work alone and to be a good team player
Due to the location of the role, you will need access to your own transport.
In return you will receive a salary of £30,000 - £36,000 depending on skills and experience plus pension.
