Finance Manager

Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Finance Manager position for a long-standing client based in the Lanarkshire area. Our client is a UK wide multinational organisation who have seen tremendous success within their sector. To be considered for this role you must have previous team management experience.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing a team of six individuals. This role is instrumental in delivering financial information to both internal and external stakeholders, as well as providing daily operational support within the finance department to ensure processes and controls are adhered to.

The main responsibilities the Finance Manager position entails are:

* Ownership of the company's day to day accounting, financial control and external reporting processes

* Working alongside other team members to establish best in class controls, processes and internal reporting

* Driving the development of the company's financial accounting function, through automation and standardised and reliable reporting

* Developing fit for purpose financial systems and controls, with a high degree of data integrity

* Developing and updating financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the company

* Management of the financial operations team

To be considered for the role you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual

* Previous experience of managing a finance team
