Are you part way through your accountancy qualification? (ACCA / CIMA) Do you have a high attention to detail along with a background in month-end reporting? Interested in joining one of fastest growing technology firms based in the City, who recently announced its unprecedented growth in 2020?

As a result of double digit year-on-year growth, this newly created position of Finance Manager will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will become a key contact to their global growth function. Responsibilities include; commissions management, process improvements and a system upgrade along with month-end reporting (including journals, accruals and prepayments).

As Finance Manager, you will also support the review and analysis of payroll and provide insights to stakeholders at month-end close. Naturally, you'll be someone with the ability to find efficiencies within processes along with the confidence to business partner across multiple non-finance teams.

Further tasks include:

Calculation of incentive and sales commissions payments, including subsequent reporting and analysis

Compiling month-end packs for the sales division

Producing accounting journals

Project work

Report on payroll data; adding insights, analysis and generating reports for stakeholders

Ad-hoc accounting tasks to support the Financial Controller The ideal candidate will be actively studying towards a recognised Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) and will have at least 2 years' experience with month-end reporting - i.e. reconciliations, journal postings, creating month-end packs. You'll have the ability to look for efficiencies in processes and drive change, in addition to having a high attention to detail when working with complex data/information. Business partnering experience is essential.
