Job Summary:

The Treasury Accountant oversees the cash management and banking activities for the Company's U.S. and international operations. This includes handling banking relationships, journal entries, internal reporting, analyses, and daily cash management activities.

Job Description:
  • Responsible for administering the Company's global treasury functions
  • Perform daily cash processes including initiating wire transfers, reviewing positive pay exceptions and compiling the necessary documentation
  • Perform bank account administration that includes opening, maintaining and closing of bank accounts
  • Maintain daily cash forecast model actualizing and projecting cash payments, cash collections and interest and debt service payments
  • Responsible for administering the Company's purchase card program functions
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team and the Staff Accountant to manage daily credit card chargeback activity and ensure that chargebacks are resolved
  • Works closely with the Domestic Controller, Assistant Controller and Senior and Staff Accountants to prepare and verify the accuracy of all cash and debt account reconciliations
  • Perform financial analysis/research related to global treasury functions and cash forecasting
  • Manage banking and credit relationships on a day-to-day basis
  • Prepare analysis as requested to facilitate such meetings
  • Ensures that the company takes advantage of the best available treasury products and services at proper fee levels

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
