Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads global budgeting and forecasting (short-term and long-term) process to include regional and consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, and necessary supporting processes, schedules, and other capabilities.
  • Performs financial analysis on new customer/product programs, identifies opportunities to strengthen financial results and conducts post-mortem analyses to institutionalize key learnings.
  • Works cross-functionally to assist in cost reduction opportunities and other areas to improve business performance & profitability.
  • Prepares monthly analysis of actual results versus budget and prior year, identifying key variances, business drivers, and recommended actions to improve company performance and profitability.
  • Provides business partners and management with key financial insights, analyses and reporting.
  • Oversees US POS (Point of Sale) reporting and analysis regarding financial impact on the business.
  • Special projects, i.e. acquisition/licensing analysis, financial system upgrades, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Financial planning experience required.
  • Detailed understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement required.
  • M&A or L&A experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical experience required.
  • Strong communication at senior management and Board levels required.
  • Ability to influence others.


Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit at a workstation for at least 8 hours per day
  • Low physical effort required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift, reach, and walk when working in an office environment
  • Fine manipulation when using the computer keyboard
  • Maximum unassisted lift = 35 lbs. Average lift less than 10 lbs.
  • Near and far vision and color discrimination necessary
  • Ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to visit customers, offices, and factories
