Aon is looking for a Fund Accountant

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Delegate Investment Solutions business group within Aon Investments, Inc. in Chicago.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing fund performance on a daily, monthly yearly basis
  • Accurate calculation of fund NAV's
  • Performing month-end close processes
  • Assists in regulatory, federal and state compliance filings and matters
  • Coordinates and liaises with independent auditor and tax preparers
  • Liaises with client service teams
  • Familiar with partnership tax returns and K-1's
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Ability to work in a team-based setting


Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following experience:
  • 5+ years of fund accounting
  • Experience with Tax Reclaims
  • Work involving Endowments and Foundations
  • CPO-PQR filings
  • Form PF
  • 5500 filing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain outstanding working relationships with colleagues and vendors
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills and detail oriented

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
