We are seeking a Nashville based Corporate Technology Product Owner/ Business Analyst to join our Corporate Technology organization.

The Corporate Technology Business Analyst/ Product Owner will be responsible for product management, project management, technical analysis, business analysis, tier 3 technical support and vendor management for the technology related to Administrative Services and Enterprise Systems. This individual will work directly with senior business sponsors and will coordinate with the teams within Corporate Technology and across the larger technology organization, to define, deliver and support systems and services.

Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:

This role is responsible for product management, project management, technical analysis, business analysis, tier 3 technical support and vendor management for the technology related to Administrative Services and Enterprise Systems. The application portfolio is comprised of SAAS products, internally hosted vendor products and custom developed applications. There is a separate development organization aligned to support this role.

The Administrative Services Technology current portfolio consists of Office Space and EMS (Facilities and Space Management platforms), Bear River (physical mail tracking and deliver platform), Equitrac and PaperCut (enterprise wide secure print solution), Ultramar Concur (travel booking and reporting), Symphony (reprographics), Building Management System, Apex (lease management) and visitor concierge services. There is an active effort on the modernization and rationalization across solutions in this space.

The Enterprise Systems related applications focus will be on ServiceNow, our internal change management, CMDB, service request and other platforms as well as our custom built Identify and Access Management related applications. AB is in the process of migrating many custom applications and processes to the ServiceNow platform which will be a focus of this role.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Act as primary liaison between the business and technology teams
  • Establish priorities with the relevant business sponsors
  • Oversee all processes of the SDLC the portfolio of applications
  • Generate business and functional requirements
  • Own project planning, complex analysis/requirement documentation, and lead in the QA/testing phases of all projects
  • Vendor management for SAAS and vendor products
  • Create process / procedures documentation and training materials
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternatives
  • Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ensure project team is adhering to project plans and help to identify and resolve discrepancies

This individual will take a leading role in the rationalization and modernization of legacy technologies consumed by the Corporate clients and the firm as a whole. The Service-Now service catalog project is an example of this opportunity, as the final result will streamline the way employees interact with the Technology organization and will ultimately enable technology operational and fulfillment automation. This individual will also take a leading role in the implementation of new technologies to support the AB Nashville Headquarter opening.

Job Qualifications (The ideal candidate should have the following):

Qualifications, Experience, Education:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in Information Systems or similar track
  • 5 + years' experience as a Business Analyst and/or Technical Product Manager
  • Experience managing products, particularly those in the Corporate space
  • Experience working with and directing offshore resources


Skills:
  • Proven ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams including business users and other technology teams
  • Excellent business communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and partner with IT to recommend technology solutions
  • Skilled in building and managing relationships with business management and key stakeholders

Corporate Technology supports 100+ applications including SaaS, in-house-developed, and internally hosted vendor applications. Examples of these systems include Workday, SmartStream, ServiceNow, Coupa, Oracle FCCM, MicroFocus Digital Safe and Supervisor, NASDAQ Compass and custom financial, compliance and identity and access management systems.

The Corporate Technology organization reports to AB's head of Technology and Operations and is comprised of 5 teams and 75+ staff members.
