The Senior Financial Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the financial planning and analysis function with focus on operational and analytical reporting, budget and rolling forecast cycles, financial consolidation, and various planning and analytical initiatives.

To best support a large portfolio, candidates for this position must enjoy a challenge, and be eager to learn more about the industries their portfolio supports and to advance their FP&A skills through new tasks. Job Description:
  • Assist the annual budget and consolidation process
  • Monthly financial forecast consolidation and variance analysis of results
  • Manage month end close process/accruals working closing with various departments
  • Development of robust sales reporting and analytics for Emerald Tradeshows and Other Marketing Services
  • M&A Integration
  • Show analytics and KPI's
  • Manage and present pricing proposals for Tradeshow and Conference events
  • Focus on cost management at the brand and show level

Requirements:
  • MBA is a plus
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
