Amazon is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead a FP&A team for AWS Infrastructure Finance. This role is based in Seattle and works across the Infrastructure Finance organization to drive the financial reporting and analysis, lead the planning and close processes, and drive process improvements across the organization. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

This role's responsibilities include:
• Manage and develop the financial planning and analysis processes, including monthly financial reviews, quarterly business reviews, long range planning, and yearly operational planning processes.
• Partner with and proactively communicate across the finance community to coordinate a complex and interconnected series of deliverables.
Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from finance executives.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
• Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.
• Lead financial controllership of AWS Infrastructure.
• Raise the bar on hiring, developing, and retaining the best talent to continue building our world class team of finance professional.

Basic Qualifications:
• 12+ years' of finance experience or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field, CPA, CFA, MBA preferred.
• Experience with data extraction and modeling using SQL, Power Query, Python or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Demonstrated ability to quantify and dollarize complex business questions and drive decisions by senior executives.
• Experience optimizing finance processes for speed, agility, and insight.
• Demonstrated ability to dive deep on ambiguous challenges and deliver actionable insight.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated curiosity to learn complex new subjects quickly and earn business partners' trust.
• 5+ years of directly supervising teams and developing people.
• MBA preferred.
