The Retail Loan Servicing Business Analyst responsibilities are to analyze the processes and systems, assessingteam needs and its integration with technology. This position will collect and review Fiserv DNA system announcements and upgrades to ensure system functionality is fully utilized and upgrades tested. The analyst will work to resolve any system questions and issues, collaborating with the Retail Servicing Team. Additionally, the analyst will prepare Fiserv DNA data warehouse reports to collect and analyze data as needed, troubleshooting issues for resolution. The analyst will also monitor all Fannie Mae announcements and loan servicing Dodd Frank compliance items, communicating out to the team ensuring procedures are updated accordingly. This position will be an integral part of all team projects, analyzing requirements and making recommendations, striving for operational efficiency across the loan servicing team. Responsible for centralized administration of Retail Loan Servicing audit and compliance requests for internal and external auditors, compliance auditors, and federal examiners. In addition, responsible for BCP and D/R planning, participation, and documentation surrounding BCP and FDICIA vendor D/R participation.

  • Responsible to monitor the Fiserv loan DNA system announcements, upgrades and communication. Responsible to acquire in-depth system knowledge to ensure proper setup, specifically with the upper-level institution option system settings. Troubleshoot issues and update system parameters as needed. Assist team members with any questions regarding the system. Input service tickets with Fiserv as needed and ensure clear communication for resolution. Attend the monthly Fiserv Client Care, Loan FOCUS Group, and compliance meetings for loans and communicate out. Prepare any surveys on the core website such as the year-end survey. Prepare, distribute, and monitor completion of Retail Servicing test scripts as well as complete test scripts for new system updates and year-end processing. Update DNA system loan letters WMF Mapper as needed and update all billing notice parameters. 30%


  • Responsible for development of DNA Core Data Warehouse reports on request and for maintaining existing reports. Responsible to ensure that all required reports are accessible to personnel so that they can complete required job tasks. These reports are prepared for members across the single-family servicing team and for management as needed. Prepare month-end benchmark reports. 20%


  • Responsible for central administration for Loan Servicing team projects, leading as necessary, serving as a technical resource. Engage with Loan Servicing team to proactively identify, assess and recommend tactical and strategic technology solutions leading to more efficient processes. Staying abreast of technologies supporting Loan Servicing business process and retail consumer customer needs. 20%

  • Monitor all Fannie Mae, Mortgage Banking and Dodd Frank compliance announcements updates for the loan servicing team. Communicate and assist with information to ensure Single Family Loan Servicing compliance. 10%


  • Complete loan modifications (calculations, principal curtailment mods). Ensure all procedures are established and updated within realm of responsibility with related FDICIA controls, relevant with Board policy with flowchart. Responsible for completion of all ORRMAN (or related workflow items) that are assigned daily. 10%


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferred Associate in Accounting or Business
  • Prefer 2-5 years banking or equivalent technical experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize and work efficiently.
  • Project management, a plus
  • Superior analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Experience with data mining applications preferred.
