The Audit Compliance Manager is an individual contributor who provides audit and compliance support within dedicated business units specializing in loan servicing and collections. The individual will be responsible for ensuring continuous and improved compliance with Conduent internal standards, client contracts, applicable regulations, and industry standards. Additionally, the role will ensure audit readiness and provide support and oversight for internal and external audits. It requires a deep understanding of audit principles and techniques, as well as, vast experience in financial regulatory compliance, including data security. As these business units expand service offerings, this individual will provide risk and control assessment and implementation, in order to ensure continued compliance. This position reports directly into the Business Operations teams but maintains integration with the 2nd and 3rd lines of defense (ERM, IA, Legal and CISO).

This is a remote/work from home position (Dallas, TX preferred, but not required) and reports directly to the Senior Director, Consumer Financial Solutions.

Job Description:
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls over major strategic, operational and regulatory risks. Identifies and develops recommendations to providing value-added support to the operations teams by providing practical, relevant and cost-effective recommendations with supporting analyses which assist senior management in achieving primary business objectives.
  • Partner and collaborate with Corporate support functions, including; Legal, regulatory compliance, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and information security.
  • Support assigned Business Units in maintaining compliance with Corporate, contractual, regulatory, and industry requirements.
  • Prepare for and support external audits and assessments, including; SSAE18, PCI DSS and client audits.
  • Prepare for and respond to internal audits and assessments.
  • Act as project manager for remediation of audit findings resulting from both internal and external audits.
  • Participate in contract renewals/reviews as it relates to audit, compliance and information security.

  • Bachelor's degree (majors such as Accounting, Finance, technical) required
  • One or more relevant certifications in the area of audit, information security and/or compliance is required. Preferred certifications include: CPA, CIA, CISA, and/or CISSP.
  • Experience within the Banking, Consumer Lending, and/or Loan Servicing industry is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit processes
  • Must have a strong understanding of audit principles and techniques and vast experience in financial regulatory compliance, including data security
  • Experience in the area(s) of risk assessment, risk management, audit, information security, and/or regulatory compliance is required.
  • Understanding and experience complying with financial consumer protection laws is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time to Jamaica and/or Mexico (post COVID19). Current passport is required.
