The DASH Senior Business Analyst will coordinate the analysis and design efforts for the Business Systems domain, including our customer portal DASH and related back office systems. They will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the needs of our various stakeholder groups from a business perspective and how they translate into technical deliverables for the development team. Efforts will include understanding business requirements, designing solutions, writing user stories, and seeing them through development, testing, and deployment.

How will you make a difference?

  • Work with Product Managers to understand the business need and value behind stories. Help a cross-functional team of stakeholders prioritize enhancements and then write technical requirements for delivery to software developers and QA staff
  • Ensure that the development teams have successful iterations because they are provided with clear, well written user stories, requirements, process flows & definitions of done in a timely manner
  • Use data, stakeholder interviews & past experiences to identify areas of opportunity to improve how Gogo and our customers do business and save time, labor costs and/or infrastructure costs
  • Help the team stay on schedule by ensuring buy-in around prioritization decisions and always having a clear backlog
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Collaborate with system analysts, system engineers and subject matter experts to establish the functional/technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business processes and technical designs as well as the specifications
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams
  • Participate in release planning events (SAFe PI Planning) and keep a pulse on changes across various teams to ensure there are no gaps

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or Technical field
  • 3+ years' experience in business process management and business analysis

Required experience, skills and Talents
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including Visio, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database concepts and data migration projects
  • Understanding of enterprise applications and systems, including data models and integration
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter who works well under pressure and consistently meets deadlines

Desirable Experience, Skills and Talents
  • Experience in the technology industry using an Agile delivery methodology a strong plus
  • Salesforce integrations experience and/or certifications
  • AWS experience and/or certifications
  • ScrumMaster experience and/or certifications
  • Working with an Agile delivery methodology
  • Experience and/or interest in the Airline and/or Telecommunications

Compensation: $91,000 - $114,000

Target Annual Incentive: 10% of base compensation
