Kelly Services is seeking a remote Financial Analyst II for a diversified technology, media and financial services company in Wilmington, NC.

Job Title: Financial Analyst II

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Remote, Wilmington, NC

Length: 9-Months

Est. Start Date: 3/1/2021

Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.85 per hour


Support the GE-Hitachi Nuclear (GEH) Asset Management Services (AMS)

and Field Services (FS) finance managers with significant interface with GEH Nuclear Services project managers

and GEH Controllership/FP&A teams.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform project variance analyses for Asset Management Services (AMS) and Field Services (FS)


• Coordinating / supporting quarterly project financial review rigor, including base lining project cost

estimates and invoicing

• Prepare deferred / progress / unbilled balance sheet account reconciliations

• Support ITO commercial operations pricing and forecast cost modeling

• Capital Spending and Program tracking and analysis

• Lead efforts around root cause analysis and resolution of financial reporting issues with project cost /

cash collections

• Active partnership with Asset Management Services (AMS) and Field Services (FS) Project Managers

around cost analysis / forecasting and transactional support

• ERP process owner, including ensuring operating rigor/compliance within the operating / project

management teams

• KPMG / CAS / SOX audit support on cost / revenue selections / balance sheet account reconciliations

• Update quarterly forecasting cycles for revenue / cost / cash collections

Qualifications / Requirements

Basic Quals:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 4 years of related Accounting or Finance experience

• Strong Operating Finance / project management skills

• Experience with financial project management and metrics

• Ability to partner with operating teams to drive controllership

• Experience with Audits both internal and external

• Must be able to meet deadlines and ad hoc reports as requested.

• Excellent analytical skills

• Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint Skills

• Energetic, enthusiastic

• Effective Communicator with superior systems / PC skills

• Experience with financial reporting systems, including but not limited to: Oracle ERP, Tableau, Hyperion tool
