Accounting & Finance Rotational Program

The Danone North America Finance and Accounting Development Program (FADP) provides a unique opportunity to learn from the diverse Finance and Accounting teams supporting Danone. The program is comprised of three, 8-month rotations to provide cross-functional experience in various departments in the Finance & Accounting teams. The rotations will begin in either our Broomfield, CO or White Plains, NY headquarters office, but there is potential to rotate through other Danone locations. As part of this program, you'll harness your business acumen and technical skills to design, implement, and operate the processes and analyses that support and enable Danone's growing businesses and innovations. This program will enable you to develop a strong foundation in the finance and accounting skills needed to support a large and fast-growing organization and will provide exposure to several different business areas to broaden your understanding of the CPG industry. The ideal candidate is a self-starter exhibiting a growth mindset and strong ambition.

Our Finance team works with teams across the company to ensure Danone continues to grow. By joining our Finance team, you will anticipate and evaluate the financial impact of decisions and find the right way forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will manage assigned projects working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive value to the organization. Present project progress and results to management and senior leadership teams.
• You will gain hands on experience in finance and accounting through various operational duties as assigned, including but not limited to:
• You will gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
• You will conduct variance analysis: analyze P&L for changes in margin and expenses
• You will assist with the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program, operational, regulatory & financial internal audits, management assurance engagements, and fraud and forensics
• You will support businesses in creating and executing internal controls
• You will be responsible for general ledger close activities using SAP. Assist with close responsibilities (i.e. perform journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet flux analysis, detailed account analysis)
• You will prepare monthly financial and management reporting packages.
• You will participate in company sponsored training and volunteer activities.
• You will be a current student enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Must have an expected graduation date of Fall 2020 or Spring 2021
• You will have Internship or experience in a corporate/professional environment required. Experience in Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing and/or CPG desirable
• You will have proven Proficiency with MS Excel and financial modeling required
• You will have strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills
• You will have working knowledge of a large ERP software platform (such as SAP), MS Access, and advanced financial modeling tools helpful.

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 per year.
