JOB SUMMARY:

International Finance (IF) Analyst is responsible for a broad range of international financial matters including but not limited to providing the daily operational support to the international finance team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

International Finance and Budget Management
  • Provide support to the field Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing.
  • Review, reconcile, and upload country monthly closing file in SAGE accounting system
  • Perform account reconciliations with country teams and propose journal entries as needed.
  • Perform Forex exchange rate gain and losses calculations for balance sheet accounts and prepare propose journal transactions to record the foreign exchange gains and/or losses.
  • Process payments and perform account reconciliations for subawards, ensuring that the financial reporting is up to date, and in agreement with the subaward contracts.
  • Perform project cash management and review country's wire transfer requests.
  • Support Accounting team with internal and external audits.
  • Provide support on the upgrade of accounting systems and reporting tools (SAGE & Insight).
  • Support IF team in collecting and updating the finance shared drive folders.
  • Support IF pricing team to gather partner information (financial and compliance documents) during proposal stage.
  • Ad hoc reporting and other deliverables as requested or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in the non-profit or public sectors, including fund accounting, fiscal audits of program activities and reporting to US government agencies, DFID and Multilateral Organization reporting a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of accounting software programs such as QuickBooks and SAGE X3.
  • Proficiency in creating and using spreadsheets, general ledger accounting packages, database, and word processing software.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

$70,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package includes medical, dental vision and life insurance; 401K retirement plan with employer contribution equal to 8.5%of annual salary after six months of employment; generous annual and sick leave; personal and paid parental leave.
