The main responsibilities of the Payroll/ AP Specialist are:
- Prepare and process weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees
- Process manual checks for discrepancies and terminations
- Calculate and adjust pay for new hire hires, promotions and terminations
- Oversee year-end payroll reporting
- Oversee payroll tax deductions
- Enter new hires in payroll system
- Manage vendors; enter new vendors in system and process weekly vendor invoices
- Ad hoc projects as requested
Requirements
The main qualifications of the Payroll/ AP Specialist are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Experience using Kronos Payroll is highly preferred
- Experience using Great Plains/Dynamics preferred
- Strong MS Office Suite Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
