Roessel Joy has partnered with a transportation company in Greater Boston seeking a Payroll AP Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Business Administration and 2-3 years of experience processing payroll.

The main responsibilities of the Payroll/ AP Specialist are:

  • Prepare and process weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Process manual checks for discrepancies and terminations
  • Calculate and adjust pay for new hire hires, promotions and terminations
  • Oversee year-end payroll reporting
  • Oversee payroll tax deductions
  • Enter new hires in payroll system
  • Manage vendors; enter new vendors in system and process weekly vendor invoices
  • Ad hoc projects as requested


Requirements

The main qualifications of the Payroll/ AP Specialist are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing
  • Experience using Kronos Payroll is highly preferred
  • Experience using Great Plains/Dynamics preferred
  • Strong MS Office Suite Skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
