PERSONAL PROFILE
JOB TITLE: Associate professional- Finance
REPORTS TO: Associate Manager Finance
LOCATION: Gurgaon, India
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Good Hands on experience on End to End Accounting for a Legal Entity. Thorough understanding of the various Journals passed in the closing along with the appropriateness of the backups.
- Good Hands on experience in the Month End Closing Process including understanding and posting of Journals like Accruals with calculations, Provisions, Tax Accruals, Payroll Journals
- Good Hands on experience in performing Balance Sheet Reconciliations of various categories like Prepayment, Accrual, Other Assets, Other Liabilities, Fixed Assets
- Liaise with other functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll to identify root cause and clear the Balance Sheet Reconciliations Reconciling Items.
- Working on Auditors Query for the Legal Entity.

- Will focus on supporting the book close on a monthly basis
- Will assist in ensuring compliance with DXC policy, US GAAP and other external requirements
TYPICAL OUTPUTS & DELIVERABLES
- Month end process deliverables (including: reconciliations and journals) and analysis
- Analysis requested by internal / external auditors
- Financial Internal Controls Compliance (including SOX) sign offs
RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in accounting / finance
- Previous working experiences (3 to 4 years) in accounting / finance / audit
PERSONAL PROFILE
- A self starter
- Shows initiative, pro-activity and able to resolve ambiguity with assigned tasks
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- Analytical skills and good attention to detail
- Good effective organisational and project management skills in completing multiple assignments
