This leader supports the Income Audit Manager in overseeing the daily activities of a dynamic group of team members providing daily revenue flash reporting and general cashier reporting to our hotel partners. Maintaining service levels while driving the team's achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics is of utmost importance. This leader provides training and learning opportunities for the Income Audit team. The Income Audit Supervisor is a results–driven professional who inspires the income audit team to deliver our brand promise of extraordinary customer service to our hotels and guests. The Income Audit Supervisor reports to the Income Audit Manager.Responsibilities: Provides day to day oversight and support on all components of accounting services related to Income Audit.Ensures daily income audits are timely, compliant, and accurate.Ensures daily variances are researched and resolved as appropriate.Ensures daily house check reports are timely, compliant and accurate.Ensures daily general cashier reports are timely, complaint and accurate.Ensures month end close is performed timely, compliant, and accurate.Trains income audit clerk new hires on Loews policies and controls.Re–trains income audit clerks based on monthly performance metrics.Ensures all income audit tools are rolled forward and in balance each month.Ensures all income audits are completed daily and complete any audits required due to open positions.Regular attendance in conformance with standardsMay be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needsRequired to attend all training sessions and meetingsAbility to perform "physical Requirements" as explained below.Upholds all company and industry standards pertaining to PCI compliance, guest/financial/payroll confidentiality and accounting best practices.Other duties as assignedRequired:Ability to work cooperatively with others.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.Ability to work effectively, maintain composure and make decisions in stressful situations.Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.Ability to perform both standard and intermediate spreadsheet functions using Microsoft Excel.Proficiency in windows–based computer programs to include e–mail, internet and word processing applications.Strong computer skills and ability to learn new computer applications.General knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles.Preferred:Preferred experience working with Oracle financial applicationsPreferred experience working with OPERA PMS & Micros POSPreferred experience working with DataVision Business IntellegenceEducation:High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Some Accounting Coursework Preferred.Experience:1–3 years hospitality finance experience required. Income Audit experience preferred
