Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Service, you will be responsible for managing the function including internal and external management and performance reporting, financial accounting and ensure consolidation of accounts and auditing across all group operations.

Ensuring that the finance functions strategy are developed, compatible, and implemented efficiently.
Supporting the division director in providing the IR family with strategic direction, assurance, timely reports and technical advice on financial issues.
Oversight and responsibility for departmental budgets.
Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting occurs, controls are followed and met and acting as the main external audit contact.
Acting as the main lead on all taxation issues with HMRC and develop strategies to maximise Tax recover for IR.
Developing and maintaining and reviewing financial guidelines, and implementation of policies and procedures to comply with audit committee requirements. To guide IR decisions and to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
Support on strategies to implement the new ERP programme. This is involve setting out a new chart of accounts and hierarchy structure and laying down the foundations of organisational reporting requirements.
Developing and maintaining effective financial systems that serve the objectives and priorities defined in IR global strategy ensuring that these systems support all IR divisions, departments, country offices and partners.
Ensuring market and liquidity risk minimisation through maintaining pro-active relationships with bankers.
Coordinating on the organisational process of budgeting and financial reporting effectively and accurately.
Must be a Qualified accountant
Substantial experience of audit, regulatory frameworks, financial planning, assurance, control of financial resources and financial management at a senior level.
Ideally from the big an audit background.
Proven experience of managing staff at managerial level, strategic planning, budgeting and corporate decision making,
Proven experience of engaging with and influencing decision-makers with sound political judgement and sensitivity.
Ability to demonstrate strategic leadership skills particularly in an environment of change.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using a variety of techniques
Proven experience of collaborative working as part of a high performing team at a senior level.
Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills to support effective strategic thinking.
Demonstrates self-management and awareness with a high level of energy and flexibility.
9 month role with the potential to go permanent paying up to £60,000 plus benefits
