As a result of growth a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Plymouth is looking for an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join their highly regarded tax team. You will be joining as a key addition undertaking both compliance and advisory / planning responsibilities. Client Details

A leading, reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Plymouth. The firm has been undergoing sustained positive growth mostly through new client work coming and ongoing new recurring fees, being generated from referrals and the strength of the firms reputation, brand and quality of service. The firm also experiences a relatively low staff turnover, with long serving employees, within an environment where career development is actively encouraged and supported through development programmes and clear career paths, with structured, achievable routes to progress. The firms tax team is headed by a well regarded tax professional in a team of around ten individuals of varying levels, experience and background. The firm services a wide range of private clients, encompassing directors of wide ranging corporate clients, OMBs and SMEs, HNWIs, both UK based and internationally mobile, property investors and landlords and wide range of other private clients.

Description

Joining the Plymouth offices as Personal Tax Senior you will deliver on both compliance, along with the opportunity for increasing involvement on advisory / planning projects across areas such as IHT, capital tax planning, trusts, and other planning opportunities for wide ranging directors and business owners, HNWIs, landlords partnerships and other wide ranging clients. You will work with managers, directors and partners and have opportunity to develop client relationships with a decent degree of autonomy, whilst with the support, training and backing of the wider management, partner and director group to develop technically, as well as being supported by the wider tax team. There will be clear opportunity to carve an influential position within this leading tax team with associated career progression potential on offer.

Profile

You are likely to be CTA qualified/studying and/or, ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified etc having developed your career to Personal Tax Senior levels within an accountancy practice firm career background. You will have developed your career within personal tax , with demonstrable experience delivering wide ranging compliance work to private client individuals. You will also be able to demonstrate a strength in developing strong client relationships, with excellent communication skills and be motivated by the chance to work with partners and directors on the further growth of an already successful tax service line.

Job Offer

£28,000 - £35,000 dependent on background and experience, plus benefits.
