Controller, Group Finance (Consolidation)

The Company

Our client is a leader in the high technology manufacturing space, with both manufacturing plants and sales offices across Asia, Europe and North America. As part of their growth plans for the regional headquarters in Singapore, they are seeking a Controller, Group Finance.

The Role

Reporting to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for group financial reporting on the group's consolidated accounts and management reporting. This will include monthly review of the group's performance via analysis of income statement including revenue, gross margins and cost management. You will perform balance sheet review of the group's subsidiaries to ensure the appropriate accounting treatments are applied as well as tracking the group's working capital position and working closely with the subsidiaries to achieve a lean working capital structure. Last but not least, you will ensure timely management reporting, forecasting and budgeting as well as reviewing capital investment proposals to ensure that required return-on-investment are achieved.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you will possess a degree in Accountancy, ACCA or CPA/CA with 10 years of relevant experience in group financial and management reporting within a SGX Listed environment. Experience within a manufacturing environment will be ideal. You should ideally also be proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP. Good communication skills will be essential as you will be required to work with the senior management team.
