Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Property Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to take the next step in their career and manage a small transactional team. The main duties:
Managing a team of 6 transactional clerks Ensuring a high level of accuracy in processing finance transactions Overseeing a high volume purchase and sales ledger Managing a high volume of Direct Debits, standing orders and card payments Maintaining cashbooks and banking controls Maintaining new business processes Production of Service Charges year ends Dealing with internal and external accounts queries Leading various system and process improvements Ensuring the companies service level agreement targets are met
The main requirements:
Previous Accounts experience working within a property would be an advantage Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or relevant accounting experience is essential Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills Excelelnt communication and interpersonal skills Organised with high levels of attention to detail Able to work to deadlines in a busy pressurised environment
