This exciting new role has been created to support our busy Finance team and is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or an individual that can demonstrate equivalent experience.
As International Accountant you would be responsible for the overall recording of financial transactions for our Hutchison International Supply Chain Management operations within China, working closely with the UK based International Finance Business Partner and our senior managers based in China. You will also support the Hutchison UK Finance team in terms of holiday cover.
Main Duties
* Maintaining accounting system - Inventory, Bill of Materials, Accounts Payable/Receivable (Currently Sage - moving to new ERP system)
* Produce accurate & timely invoicing.
* Ensure effective cashflow management process is being followed
* Control Account reconciliations
* Processing of Payments
* Bank & Credit Card reconciliations
* Credit Control
* Assisting with preparation of management reports and KPIs
* Preparation of information for external accountants
Key skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships to support accurate and timely work
* Ability to prioritise and coordinate a wide range of activities
* Proficient within use of Microsoft, particularly Excel
* Analytical approach with high level of attention to detail
* Proactive in approach and have real team player attitude with a commitment to delivering the highest standards of service for the wider business
