Assistant Accountant (for Indonesia entity)

Join an exciting opportunity with a European MNC as an Assistant Accountant to manage their Indonesian entity portfolio!

The Role


You will be responsible for the day to day accounting function such as recording journal entries, processing invoices and claims, generating AR ageing reports, performing bank reconciliation and up to month end closing activities. You are required to perform analysis, forecasting and reporting tasks. You are to act as a bridge between Singapore and Indonesia as well as ensure the accounts are in line with the regulations and are closed on time. You are required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, etc.

Your Profile


You should have a degree in accounting and finance or its equivalent, with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. You should have good interpersonal and communications skills, are a team player, and can work with minimal supervision. Prior experience handling Indonesia books will be an advantage. Ability to speak Bahasa Indonesia will be required to liaise with Indonesia counterpart. Immediate availability preferred.
