Finance Transformation & Governance - Citi Treasury Investments FX projects

The Finance Transformation & Governance team works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Citi Treasury activities. The Senior Group Manager will be responsible for the execution, governance and program oversight for Citi Treasury Investments (CTI) FX Desk. This position will report to the Finance Transformation & Governance Lead for CTI and will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders within Treasury, Controllers, Risk, Technology and business partners across the firm to drive the FX desk project and change agenda.

The CTI business is responsible for managing Citi Treasury's central liquidity and investment portfolios, executing the interest rate & foreign exchange hedge programs and providing internal US dollar financing to other trading desks. CTI is also responsible for third party funding such as the issuance of benchmark debt, structured notes and credit card securitizations.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in implementation management for the FX desk including new projects, strategic initiatives and transformation
• Participate and coordinate activities with respect to regulatory reviews ensuring expectations are clearly communicated, understood and met
• Drives internal productivity and transformation initiatives; actively seeking process standardization across Treasury organization and with partner functions (Controllers, Technology, etc)
• Participate in and implement Treasury strategy; provide advice to internal clients on the implication of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business strategy
• Often requires development of new concepts and approaches with thought leadership to solve issues affecting the business, many times global in nature
• Run program of projects including planning, governance, progress tracking and execution
• Provide project oversight and input to ensure timely resolution of risks and issues
• Contribution to robust self-assessment framework resulting from change activities
• Identify gaps in current process design and implement necessary changes
• Interface with internal audit on project reviews and ensure timely resolution of identified issue

Experience & Qualifications

• 12+ years of broad experience in Finance or Consulting
• Minimum Bachelor's degree; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
• Strong and demonstrated execution skills with a proven track record of operating in a large global business with process transformation including technology integration
• Exceptional communications skills including strong written and verbal executive-level communication, including the ability to quickly adjust message based on different audiences and agendas.
• Ability to influence people without direct authority; proven program management experience with the ability to mediate discussions and draw consensus
• Demonstrated ability to both independently and collaboratively solution complex and dynamic processes and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
• Ability to lead and drive change through creative thinking and pragmatism
• Prior experience working on regulatory reporting initiatives and interfacing with both internal and external partners is preferred.
• Requires advanced PowerPoint skills for Executive level presentations
