Assistant Accountant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with an established organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis.

This role would suit a Part Qualified Accountant looking to take the next step in their career, and join a highly successful organisation. Main duties:

Month-end journals, prepayments, accruals and bank reconciliations P&L and Balance Sheet preparation and reporting Real-time & monthly cash reporting Bank reconciliations, month-end journals as required Month-end / quarter-end management accounts Assistance in compilation of month-end / quarter-end JV reporting Assisting with purchase ledger duties CIS administration & returns and monthly / annual filing & compliance

Main requirements:

Would suit a Part Qualified or Qualified by experience candidate Experience of preparing management accounts is essential Construction/Property experience would be an advantage First class communication and interpersonal skills Strong technical skills, in particular Excel Sage experience would be an advantage Ability to be a confident self-starter Highly organised
