Tax Senior - Fantastic Accountancy Practice

Michael Page are currently partnering with a brilliant accountancy practice based near Ashford who are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join them. The role would be very well suited to someone qualified or part qualified, looking to take on an established senior position within a leading firm where they will get both compliance and advisory exposure to a varied client based across the South East.

Description

Joining as a Tax Senior, based from the firms offices near Ashford, you will be responsible for the provision of both compliance and advisory services, to a wide range of clients, across personal tax cases.

You will have opportunity for involvement in tax planning projects, dealing with clients and be encouraged to develop you skills and career, with the support of managers and partners.

You will also have opportunity to support junior staff, helping tax assistants at a more junior level, with their queries, reviewing work and helping with their development.

You will work with the Tax manager to further the development of the department and carve a key role, within this successful tax team, with the opportunity to progress your career.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this Tax Senior role:

This role requires tax experience. It would ideally suit someone who has attained the ATT and CTA qualification; however our client would be open to somebody qualified by experience as long as the individual has a minimum of five years of tax experience.

A team player is required as the role entails active participation in the tax team, in addition to being able to work on their own with limited guidance.

The candidate will need to have an organised and methodical approach to tasks and perform the tasks required to a standard where they are complete and correct. They will also require the ability to manage a number of tasks at one time.

Excellent communication skills will be needed, together with the ability to build relationships with clients.

Prior knowledge of CCH Accountancy software would be an advantage but not a prerequisite..
