Position - Finance/ Accounting Manager
Position Summary
This role calls for an experienced professional who is accountable for ensuring all financial controls, reporting and processes are effectively in place, all business regulations are complied with, and all business support functions are optimally operational. You will partner effectively with Senior Management and play a key and active role as part of the leadership team, guiding the company's growth and strategic agenda.
Position Description -
-         Responsible for all accounting, internal and external/ statutory financial reporting, financial compliance, tax and financial transaction processing for the Company.
-         Develop and deliver accurate and concise financial reports, tailored to each level of the organisation, with relevant variance analysis and interpretation of results to facilitate business decisions and enhance financial results.
-         Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, client invoicing, recording of receipts from customers, banking, payroll and other employee payments.
-         Maintaining an effective internal control environment, including managing and efficient budget/ forecasting processes, and compliance with financial control procedures,
-         Collaborate with all managers as a business partner, effectively communicating financial issues and commercially sound recommendations in a timely and straightforward manner. Guide and train Managers on financial matters and help them to implement profitability/ cost control initiatives.
-         Facilitate value creation, optimise cost improvement opportunities, and mitigate risks, to ensure Business Continuity at all times.
-         Establish and maintain controls and processes to ensure timely compliance in respect to local laws and regulations (business, statutory, government, secretarial, audit, accounting, payroll and tax).
-         Manage contracts and administration including office rental, IT infrastructure.
-         Manage all Administration support function and ensure that related policies, systems, and procedures are implemented including facilities management, human resource administration, Leave System, Purchase Orders, Supply, Logistic etc.
-         Developing and implementing strategies, processes and systems to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement within these functions.
-         Lead/ manage a small team.
The successful applicant -
-         Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. Professional Qualification desirable. (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA).
-         Minimum 6-8+ years of work experience, with 3+ year of managerial experience.
-         Self-motivated with ability to work independently, with high level of self-management to set and work to priorities and deliver on deadlines.
-         Excellent communication in English. Provide professional, friendly, clear and concise communication to all stakeholders. Other languages are a bonus.
-         Excellent computer skills using MS Office Applications. Excel and PPT.
-         Committed, hardworking and keen to learn.
-         Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
-         Experience in Xero or other ERP system.
-         Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Highly organised.
-         Highly analytical with proven problem-solving skills.
-         Strong financial and commercial acumen.
-         Financial modelling skills desirable.
-         Experience in a multinational corporate environment desirable.
