The opportunity
At TAFE NSW, we go beyond pure internal audit. Now, we're searching for a talented IT Audit Specialist with a strong interest in performing both technical IT reviews and operational reviews to fill a new role and help drive a step change in our audit delivery services.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a nimble, yet highly effective Internal Audit team. You will report directly to the Manager, Internal Audit and working closely with the Chief Audit Executive. It is a team which has a continuous improvement mindset and welcomes advice and innovation on using information technology solutions to deliver a quality product and service. This is an exciting time to join this business unit in a newly created position.

About YOU
Our successful candidate will be someone who contributes to, and delivers high quality written deliverables underpinned by a keen attention to detail. You will be highly capable and credible in building relationships with colleagues across the business and working collaboratively with major stakeholders including senior IT executives (CIO and the IT leadership team).

Preferably with an Information Technology (or similar) degree and certified in one of the following - eg CISA, CISM or CISSP, you will bring demonstrated risk based audit methodologies expertise to the team. Your deep IT audit expertise will come to the fore through reviews of TAFE NSW's IT systems, and adopting best practice approaches to support operational audits will be key to your success. Additionally you will be outcome driven, pragmatic, yet appreciate the importance of the approach taken in the provision of assurance over changes to or implementation of, new IT systems in a large organisation undergoing major change.
