Senior Accountant / Practice Manager

This new opportunity is excellent for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or a QBE Accountant to join the accountancy practice in York at an exciting time within the business.

This position will require you to work closely with the Managing Partner to ensure clients are well-serviced.

This client is an independent firm of chartered accountants in York. The team is relatively small, but there is scope to expand with the number of clients on-boarded. Our client provides a specialist services to its clients across a range of business sectors.

Description

This practice are looking for a Senior Accountant / Practice Manager to join their growing team. Reporting into the managing partner, you'll be working with a small team and taking on a portfolio of diverse clients. Managing workload, you'll be reviewing and advising work including accounts preparation, VAT returns and management accounts, along with specialist tax advice.

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Qualified by experience
Personable and attentive
Able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Excellent time management skills
