My client is recruiting for a Head of Finance, to report into the Finance Director, to manage the day to day Finance team and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of effective reporting dashboards and processes that support business objectives and operational performance.

My client are a high growth Private Equity backed business who have experienced 30% growth in the last year. With strong ambition plans the business has plans to grow both organically and through acquisition.

Description


  • Management and development of the Finance team - a team of 9 with 3 to 4 direct reports
  • Key contact with bank, completion of compliance certificate and ensuring compliance with covenants, including sensitivity analysis.
  • Consolidation of group accounts on a monthly basis
  • Detailed review of performance of business v forecast & budget & prior year on at least monthly basis
  • Preparation of Board Pack on a monthly basis
  • Review and authorisation of payroll
  • Review and authorisation of supplier and other payments
  • Technical lead on all tax issues in terms of UK and worldwide taxes due to global expansion, including identifying potential issues
  • Key contact for audit, ensuring minimum control issues and audit adjustments identified
  • Preparation of 13 week cashflow on a weekly basis
  • Prepare divisional profitability on a monthly basis
  • To work closely with the Operational Board and wider senior management to understand and improve the performance of the business
  • To maintain a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance

    • Profile

    • Qualified accountant either ACA, ACCA, CIMA
    • Previous experience of managing a team
    • Previous Private Equity experience would be desirable or a fast-paced environment
    • Previous experience of integration of acquisitions, covenant compliance and sensitivity analysis, financial analysis and tax
    • Strong communication skills
