Management Accountant

We are supporting our client to recruit a Management Accountant to provide support to UK Business. On a day to day basis you will provide support the accounting team and more specifically the Management Accountant. If you love data analysis and want to get stuck into Excel this is the role for you.

Client Details

The client is a UK manufacturing and servicing business who provides mechanical products and solutions at rapid speed across the UK. Their UK customers love the client because of the speed of service and their technical knowledge of the products on offer.

Description

As the Management Accountant you would:

• Provide reports including; Cost, P n L, balance sheets
• Support the Management Accountant in ensuring the complete and accurate recording of the monthly revenue and gross margin
• Responsible for the reconciliation of associated balance sheet control accounts at month end
• Responsible for in Prepayments, Accruals and Payroll control accounts
• Provide support to the finance teams across the UK
• Responsible for the complete and accurate recording of the monthly operating expenses and payroll
• Coach and mentor 1 direct report
• Plan and implement mid-month reviews of fixed cost accounting to ensure resource is optimised to deliver on monthly close timetable
• Become the finance business partner for key budget holders including HR, IT & Marketing

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Studying ACCA or CIMA
• Have worked within a finance team ideally as an Assistant Accountant
• Have experience of working in fast paced environment during month end

• Receive £28,000 -£32,000 Per annum
