Client Details

A leading import/export business have created an exacting new opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team working alongside a team of 3 in Purchase Ledger. This company are undergoing a period of growth and are looking to expand further over the coming 18 months. They are based in Manchester City Centre and you must be able to commute to the office.

Description

The Senior Accounts Payable Clerk role is a temporary role initially.

You will have the opportunity to look after:

• Monitor and maintain all group account ledgers.
• Set up supplier accounts in line with group policy ensuring supplier information is up to date.
• Process Invoices all pricing and supplier information is up to date and accurate for all suppliers
• Production of sterling payments
• Posting/allocating payments
• Production of remittance advices
• Production of other currency payments (mainly Euro)
• Posting/allocating payments
• Production of remittance advices
• Code invoices and obtain invoice approval for non inventory invoice
• Resolve outstanding invoice queries in a timely manner
• Ensure GRNI is kept at the levels required by the business
• Reconciliation of GRNs/POs/purchase invoices
• Maintain relationships with suppliers
• Check and process all Credit Card expenses
• Reconciliation of Group Accounts Payable Ledgers
• Reconciliation of inter-company balances on a monthly basis
• In the region of 700 Invoices across various entities a week.
• Support additional members of the accounts team and lead from the front.

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should

Have experience or managing Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable process end to end

Be available to consider a temporary role

Be able to commute to Manchester City Centre office

Ideally have Sage experience (Not essential)
