This role will provide leadership and support to the sales teams across the EMEA Dell Execution & Acceleration Team (DESAT). Responsible for driving sales analytics and modeling, EMEA consolidation and reporting; sales productivity, forecasting and funnel analysis; sales compensation plan setup and on-going management and field automation initiatives while working closely with the overall EMEA DESAT Business Operations Leader and Sales Teams.

There will also be some projects/activities that the individual will be called on to support with direction from the Global DSAT Sales Operations Director

Primary Responsibilities:

Acting as key supporting member for the DSAT Business Operations teams for reporting requirements and business analytics, and reporting to the Sales Operation Manager DSAT
  • Continuous development of standard reporting tools to support the ever-changing requirements of the business.
  • Pipeline reporting tools
  • Enable compensation planning for the DSAT sales team; help establish comp plans; monitor comp performance
  • Drive standards of performance and measurement that is consistent with predefined success criteria for the sales organization, track, and report on these activities on a periodic basis
  • Generate weekly metric reports & provide analysis for the DSAT Sales Leadership Team to monitor performance across a range of key business drivers
  • Develop comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast consolidation, and analysis.
  • Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount, and sales planning
  • Provide recommendations, based on data analysis, in support of key business decisions that impact the Field Operations.

Requirements:
  • 5-8 years' experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or Finance
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Salesforce.com, and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Intermediate/advanced SQL, SAP and MS Access experience (databases creation, maintenance, and querying)
  • Intermediate/Advance Tableau experience
  • Self-starter with excellent time and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strength in researching, understanding and succinctly explaining complex business issues and analyzing business impacts
  • Experience using CRM applications;
  • Enterprise software sales experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred

Organizational Alignment:
  • Report to Sales Operations Manager, VMware Dell Synergy Acceleration Team (DSAT)
  • Cooperate with team-members from other functions and teams on the assigned project
Interface with: Sales Operations team, Sales Management team, Enterprise Data Analytics team, Deal management team, Finance
