GL Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager

We are looking for a GL Accountant that has got a strong background in both the General Ledger and budgeting & forecasting function for our client in the F&B sector.

Our client is an award winning and popular restaurant chain here in Singapore and also within the region. They have been around for over 20 years, winning awards across many different categories and winning the top accolades within the F&B industry.

Description

This person will be responsible for the full GL function, monthly end closings, management reporting and analysis. This person will also be supporting the FP&A scope on top of the full GL coverage as well as being involved in system implementation and process change projects.

Profile

You should ideally possess a degree in accountancy/ACCA or equivalent with at least 5 years of working experience in the accounting and finance function. Strong knowledge in the full spectrum of accounting function and reporting, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is ideal. This person should ideally come from a retail or F&B industry to better appreciate the dynamics and processes within. Knowledge in Navision and Netsuite will be advantageous.
