The Role:
- Oversee the controllers in different regions including the required reporting and ensure operational consistencies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting teams
- Align and improve accounting processes and efficiencies across geographies
- IFRS compliance and yearend audits
- Oversight of daily accounting processes, staff, controls and audit
- Handle compliance for government and suppliers
- Establishment of departmental goals
- Internal and external audit work
The Ideal Candidate :
- Canadian Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
- Strong financial reporting experiences
- Strong leadership experience; 5 plus years of Management experience is required
- Experience with project management and demonstrated process improvement is required
- Strong communication skills
- Salary of $100,000 - $110,000
