Financial Accountant

I have an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a World Leading company based in Thame to play a key role in the management of Financial Accounting function. This role is a temporary to permanent position, with benefits of parking on site.

Based in Thame this is easily commutable from Oxford, High Wycombe, Bicester, Aylesbury, Slough and surrounding areas.

Client Details

You will report directly into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the day to day reconciling of all balance sheet accounts every month, month end analysis, updating cost forecasts, report on sales, profit and intercompany transfers.

You will be apart of a small, stable Finance team with 1 direct report.

Description

Detailed job description for Financial Accounting role:

• Month end analysis of warranty portfolio to report on active and closed contracts - portfolio movements, updated cost forecasts and adjusted loss provisions.

• Ensure payments to dealers/customers and other third parties are paid on time.

• Reconcile all truck related balance sheet accounts every month and ensure agreed actions are followed up.

• Manage the external sales audit program, ensuring regular reviews and follow up actions.

• Month end analysis to report on sales, cost of sales, profit and intercompany transfers.

To be considered for the Financial Accountant role you must have:

• Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
• Critical thinking and commercial awareness.
• Structured and well organised Solid financial accounting understanding and experience.
• Managerial experience (one direct report).
