Our partner, an international charity, seeks an FP&A Manager to support the organisation in achieving its objectives, working with international partners as well as the different departments in the UK office.
Responsibilities
Lead in the creation of the annual budget, forecasts and financial plans, both for the organisation overall and for ad hoc projects as required.Work with all the UK departments, producing management accounts, analysis and reports, ensuring that any variances are understood and that department managers are well-placed to manage their allocated resources.Oversee, review and strengthen and financial controls of the UK office, as well as international partners, ensuring they meet the organisational and donor compliance requirements.Staff management, supervising their work and supporting them in their professional and career development. Requirements
Qualified or part qualified accountant, with excellent analysis, modelling and reporting skills. Experience in budget creation, management and reporting, forecasting, and management accounting and reporting.Experience in fund accounting within a charity, specifically in accounting for restricted and unrestricted funds.Strong business partner, able to relay financial information to finance and non-finance staff, both in the UK and overseas.Excellent IT skills, specifically advanced MSExcel skillsOpen to working in an organisation underpinned by Christian valuesOrganised, with attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.Fluency in French and Spanish is desirable This is a home-based role during the COVID-19 pandemic; once restrictions are eased there will be an expectation to be in the office at least 2 days/week.
