A leading real estate development, investment and property management company are currently hiring a Senior Accountant into their team on a permanent basis. Directly supporting the CFO, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for end to end finance responsibilities in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with 5 years' experience. A background in property is desired.

Key responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory annual financial statements
- Review of property financial reports provided by the external property manger
- Manage fund related financial transactions into monthly results
- Preparing forecast and budget templates including calculating trust related expenses
- Preparing monthly distribution and taxable income calculation ensuring compliance with tax legislation
- Preparing monthly cash flow
- Review quarterly BAS and ensure BAS lodgement is completed
- Working closely with outsourced property manager and asset management team to prepare monthly detailed variance analysis comparing actual to budget
- Manage external audit process and filing of audited financial statements with ASIC
Key requirements
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Proficient in MX Excel
- SAP system experienced would be advantageous
- Property industry preferable
- Asset management or fund management considered
