Your role at a glance

This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment.
You will have good experience of listening to business requirements and performing technical data analysis. Being able to read / write SQL is an important part of this role and will allow you to effectively support on the projects you are assigned to.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead requirements analysis with responsibility of defining and delivering the key analysis outcomes and deliverables
  • Working closely with stakeholders across Group Technology and L&G Business Divisions
  • Experience in data analysis and data mapping with strong understanding of defining data queries
  • Ensure that there is clear requirements traceability throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Will work closely Database Developers and Data Analysts within Group Technology Data Team
  • Will work closely with the Group Digital Risk & Regulatory team from initiation through to delivery
  • Critically review and evaluate any proposed solutions identifying alignment with business strategies making recommendations to key stakeholders ensuring they are fully aware of key risks and assumptions

What we're looking for

  • Significant Business Analysis experience
  • Strong background working within a Digital delivery team.
  • Experience of legacy technology, i.e. Mainframe
  • Experience of large scale data projects
  • Exposure to data engineering/data services teams
  • Good negotiating skills and is a great listener
  • Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of database cloud migrations (preferable)
  • BCS Business Analysis Diploma (preferable)
