The Opportunity

As a result of our growth in new funds management and consistent expansion of market share, we are looking to grow our team with a Graduate Accountant. In this position, you will gain invaluable exposure to clients and funds management experience.

If you are hardworking and eager to learn, we will invest in your professional development to make you a successful Accountant. In addition to day-to-day training, we will provide study leave and financial support towards your CA, and a financial incentive upon completion.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

• Fully or partially completed undergraduate degree with an Accounting major and eligibility to undertake the CA programme
• Must have good communication skills in both English and Mandarin
• Willingness to pick up work to gain exposure and learn Ability to work as part of a team to achieve results
• Ability to build rapport and foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal business communication skills Strong tertiary academic results
• Prior professional accounting experience is advantageous but not essential

Role Responsibilities

• Plan, review and administer accounts in Xero accounting platform and associated procedures;
• Analyse our financial information needs and provide advice on financial planning and risk management with reports to assist with decision making;
• Assist in providing insight into cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and improvement initiatives;
• Registration and licensing will also be required;
• Preparation of proposals for our Clients and Investors in both English and Mandarin
• Assisting to prepare tax returns, letters, notes, schedules and financial information using Xero accounting software and other financial software tools
• Developing a thorough working knowledge of Accounting concepts and the Australian tax system
• Maintaining effective and open communication channels with colleagues and clients at all times
• Maintaining accountability over personal productivity in accordance with budget expectations
• General administration including timesheets, filing system maintenance and scanning
• Other general tasks, as required
