VP, Intragroup Service Management

Your field of responsibility

Senior VP role, partnering with the head of CS Intragroup Service Management [IGSM] supporting strategic decisions and executing change programs to ensure Regulatory Compliance (Outsourcing) and process efficacy with appropriate controls. Initially this will include enriching the incumbent global regulation in place and enhancing to cover the European Banking Authority [EBA] Guidelines that are being adopted across European jurisdictions

IGSM are responsible for operating and maintaining a global Regulatory Outsourcing framework that is used to assess, manage and report on the residual risks relating to Intra-Group Outsourcing Arrangements

The framework includes a global policy, Global Master Subscription Agreements, Service Catalogue, Service Matrix and appropriate Operating processes and controls

Deliver processes and controls required to provide transparency over service provision, risk assessment and risk monitoring, and governance structures to provide effective oversight of intra-group services, delivering process, governance and control efficiencies

Increase the completeness and accuracy of the service matrix, reducing manual effort to populate and maintain through automating links to other CS data sets and providing workflow tools

Drive efficiency and improve controls by automating manual processes and enabling aggregated risk reporting

Work with global second and third line of defence partners from Group Finance, Third Party Risk Management, Regional Outsourcing Governance partners, Internal Audit and Change

Candidate expected to work and manage first line partners independently; covering Legal Entities, Corporate Functions and Business Divisions

The candidate will be a critical part of IGSM, providing direct support to the IGSM Lead to facilitate bandwidth across critical change programs both currently running and anticipated in the near future

The successful candidate will play key role in defining the future BaU operation through delivery and implementation strategic IGSM processes, controls and toolset

Role is core to Regional and Global delivery and as part of the Team building up a new function, evolving process and technology, significant opportunity to embed personal brand

Work with Finance, Risk, COO and IT to analyse, design and document processes, procedures and controls for intragroup service management

Analyse requirements and propose solution options as basis for senior management decisions

Support project handover and embed in BAU

The role supports a degree of flexible working arrangement but requires close detailed collaboration with many senior partners in London

Your skills and experience

• Commensurate tenure and experience in Financial Services with knowledge of Outsourcing Regulation including ideally FINMA, PRA/BoE, MAS, EBA
• Background in Service Management Frameworks or similar
• Experience in core finance business processes with proven experience in process improvement
• Familiarity with allocation and charging processes preferred
• Strong control focus to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
• Accomplished data analytical and modeling skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Hardworking, Results-oriented with attention to detail
• Strong matrix leadership skills with proven ability to influence without direct line management responsibility
• MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
