Page Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an organisation in the education sector for a permanent Finance Business Partner / Assistant Finance Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accountancy and finance candidate to support the qualified Finance Manager with high level technical and commercial advice and expertise.

Description

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, working with the Finance Manager managing the organisation's finances, ensuring they are managed efficiently and commercially. This will include performing financial planning, with supporting management reporting and budgetary control; performing balance sheet reconciliations; producing cash flow monitoring; liaising with key stakeholders across the organisation providing budgeting support; and other duties as required.

The role is based on the Bradford and Leeds border, with occasional travel to sites across West Yorkshire, with home working also available.

Profile

Candidates wishing to apply to the role should have:

• Previously worked in a similar role
• A good computer literacy including MS Excel
• Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work towards deadlines
• Knowledge of the education sector (desirable, not essential)
