We are currently recruiting for a Sales Reconciliation Associate to join a leading company in Co. Waterford. This is a permanent role on a full time basis, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager . Key Responsibilities: Cash, credit and DD verification within the sales reconciliation system Perform Cash Management operations involving payment receipt, processing, deposits and other duties with accuracy and timeliness Reconciliation of the daily cash transactions to the A/R systems as well as to the monthly GL accounts, investigating and reconciling any discrepancies Balance sheet, intercompany, and bank reconciliations Revenue and expense allocations and entries Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process General office administrative tasks such as filing, mail, copies, etc. Other Ad Hoc duties as required Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant accounts admin experience with a 3rd level degree Strong proficiency in data entry and the use of Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team supporting others Treats confidential information in a trustworthy manner Strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to consistently follow outlined procedures, as well as develop new and improved processes The successful candidate will be required to travel to our offices in the US during the initial 2 months of employment , whereby they will obtain invaluable internal training with our accountancy team.
