We're looking for an ambitious and fully qualified analyst to join our finance team based in Reading. This is a key role in the nutrition finance team, owning the monthly forecasting and reporting data management process, during an important transformational period for PepsiCo UK.

What you'll get up to:
  • Provide subject matter expert input & lead transition of Quaker forecasting and reporting processes into Mosaic (new web-based forecasting tool).
  • Key contributor to our adoption of SAP as the new ERP system in PepsiCo UK.
  • Provide analytical support to the Forecast & Reporting Senior Manager to consolidate key insights to deliver meaningful messaging to senior stakeholders in finance and commercial teams.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders from sales, marketing, finance business partners, FP&A and commercial leaders to provide a single point of truth for financial data.
  • Own the maintenance of reporting databases to ensure integrity of forecast and historical data accounting for required restatements and hierarchy amendments.
  • Support key planning processes and data preparation for core business meetings.
  • Conduct variance analysis to draw out drivers of performance and seek corroborating rationale from relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously look for improvements and efficiencies in our processes and tools.
  • Ensuring smooth period end reporting and explanation of Quaker revenue performance to the FP&A team and CFO.
  • Present key performance & outlook headlines to Commercial leads on a monthly basis.
  • Support the Forecasting and Reporting Senior Manager through the key forecasting processes, including our Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasting.

Qualifications/Requirements
What we're looking for:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA fully qualified
  • Excellent data analysis skills, including the ability to determine whether data is accurate and complete.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is important but ability to learn new systems critical.
  • Strong numerical and IT skills (Particularly working with financial reporting systems).
  • Commercial acumen with ability to transform data into insights.
  • Attention to detail, ability to sense check / triangulate data.
  • Proven ability to communicate amongst a diverse group of stakeholders and clearly articulate business drivers.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders to improve processes or course correct based on analytical findings
  • Flexible style, able to work in an environment with competing priorities and a team approach.
